About Taletso TVET College

Taletso TVET College is the result of a merger between Lehurutshe College of Education, Mafikeng College and Lichtenburg College. The three campuses are situated in the Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality of the North West Province. The College targets students around Itsoseng, Bodibe, Lichtenburg, Boikhutso, Biesiesvlei, Sannieshof, Ottosdal, Coligny, Mafikeng, Lehurutshe, Zeerust and Botswana, but is open to other areas..

2024 applications are officially open at Taletso TVET College for the following second trimester courses:

• Electrical Engineering 
• Mechanical Engineering

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 SECOND TRIMESTER ENGINEERING COURSES AT TALETSO TVET COLLEGE:

• To apply for N2 you must have passed grade 11
• To apply for N3 you must have passed N2
• To apply for N4 you must have passed N3 OR grade 12 (with mathematics) OR technical grade 12 OR NCV Level 4.
•  To apply for N5 you must have passed N4 
• To apply for N6 you must have passed N5
   

How to apply at Taletso TVET College for 2024

The preferred method to submit your application is online through the Taletso TVET College website. Follow these simple steps to apply online at Taletso TVET College. 

• Visit the Taletso TVET College website HERE
• Scroll down and click on the "student enabler" tab
• Click on the "Apply" tab under prospective students
• Fill in your personal details and upload the required documents
• Submit your application

NOTE:

• Prospective students who encounter problems with uploading their supporting documents online should send them to: [email protected] (Write your name and ID number on the subject line)
• All prospective students should first complete the student profiler then apply.

Alternatively, you can apply in person at the campus you wish to attend. The college has three campuses: Mafikeng, Lichtenburg, and Lehurutshe. Students can visit the campuses from 11 March to 15 March 2024 between 8:30am to 14h00 ( NO student to arrive after 1pm)

NOTE:

• All prospective students should first complete the student profiler then apply.
• Students are encouraged to bring along their smart phones so that Taletso TVET College ushers can assist them with applying while they queue.

Taletso TVET College Required Documents

Your application must be accompanied by the following documents:

• Your certified ID copy
• Your certified matric results/certificate or equivalent
• Your parent/next of kin certified ID copy
• Proof of residence 

CLOSING DATE

The closing date for the Taletso TVET College 2024 second trimester applications is the 15th of March 2024. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
