Anglo American is inviting qualifying individuals to apply for their Engineering Learnerships for year 2024. The learnerships applications are open to unemployed young people in South Africa.

• Learnership Fitters x 4
• Learnership Rigger x 2
• Learnership Electrician x 2
• Learnership Diesel Mechanic x 1
• Learnership Boilermakers x 3

ABOUT THE ANGLO AMERICAN LEARNERSHIPS - SELECTION,  ALLOWANCE AND MORE

The Anglo American Engineering Learnerships will run for a period of three (3) years and will equip the youth with necessary skills to be qualified artisans. Successful candidates will be placed in a real-world work environments and will get an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to actual projects and tasks under the guidance of experienced professionals. This practical experience is much more valuable than theoretical learning alone and sets one apart from traditional graduates. After successfully completing the learnerships the trainees will be qualified artisans in the above mentioned learnerships.

ANGLO AMERICAN ENGINEERING LEARNERSHIPS REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for the Anglo American Engineering Learnerships, you need to meet the following requirements:

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must have passed matric with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science and English (all with minimum 40% pass), OR
• You must have passed N2 or higher with all subjects as per the specific Discipline Requirements OR
• You must have passed NCV Level - 4 in appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40% pass
• First preference will be given to young people staying around and near the Amandelbult Mine (Limpopo)
• Preference will be given to applicants from the designated group defined in terms of Employment Equity

• Your certified ID copy
• Your certified copies of all relevant qualifications
• Your Proof of Residence (with stamp from relevant tribal office or municipality)
