Gert Sibande TVET College is inviting qualifying individuals to apply for their various training programmes for the 2024 academic year. Successful applicants will  gain practical experience and develop the skills needed to excel in their chosen trade/programmes.

About Gert Sibande TVET College:

Gert Sibande TVET College is a public TVET college located in Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. It was established in 2002 through the merger of three technical colleges: Ermelo, Evander, and Standerton. The college was named after Gert Sibande, a former ANC leader and Premier of Mpumalanga. Gert Sibande has a total of six campuses across the Mpumalanga province namely; Balfour, Ermelo, Evander, Glenmore, Perdekop, and Standerton Campus.

• Millwright  (Apprenticeship) NQF 4
• Welder  (Apprenticeship) NQF 4
• Building and Civil Construction (Bricklayer) NQF 3
• Early Childhood Development NQF 4
• Accounting Technician NQF 3
• Occupational Certificate (Hairdresser) NQF 4
• Plant Production NQF 3

GERT SIBANDE TVET COLLEGE TRAINING PROGRAMMES REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for the Gert Sibande TVET College Training Programmes, you need to meet the following requirements:

Mechanical Fitter (Apprenticeship) NQF 4

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must have passed grade 11 OR must have passed NCV level 4 OR N2 OR NQF level 3

Millwright  (Apprenticeship) NQF 4

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must have passed grade 11 OR must have passed NCV level 4 OR N2 OR NQF level 3

Welder  (Apprenticeship) NQF 4

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must have passed grade 11 OR must have passed NCV level 4 OR N2 OR NQF level 3

Building and Civil Construction (Bricklayer) NQF 3

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must have Community House Building NQF level 2 OR Grade 12

Early Childhood Development NQF 4

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must have Grade 12 with (Maths Literacy and English)

Accounting Technician NQF 3

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must have Grade 12 with (Pure Maths and Accounting)

Occupational Certificate (Hairdresser) NQF 4

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must have Grade 9

Plant Production NQF 3

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must have Grade 9

• Your certified ID copy
• Your certified copies of all relevant qualifications
• Certified Identify document of parent of guardian (If you are under 18)
