Buffalo City TVET College is now accepting applications for the 2025 academic year. The applications are open for various business studies and engineering courses for semester and trimester 1 intake. Interested individual should submit their online applications at Buffalo City TVET College by 30 September 2024.

• Capture your biographical information and click "next" to proceed with your application;
• Capture results details then add subjects and click "next"

• Capture academic application details (choose 2 choices/programmes you wish to apply for), click on "add qualification" and thereafter click "next";
• Verify/Check your application details then click "continue";
• Create your 5 digit PIN (e.g 24689), click "I accept"(twice) checkbox thereafter click "Submit Application";
• Upload your documents, select "yes" on the dropdown list if all your documents are ready to be uploaded and then click "next";
• Click "Load/View Document" >> "Upload document" >> "Choose/Browse file" go to the folder where your documents are stored, choose the relevant document and click "save";
• Once all documents have been uploaded click "complete upload";
• Confirmation Page, end of application

To apply successfully at Buffalo City TVET College, you first  MUST complete the placement test to ensure you know which career to choose. Take note of the following regarding the Placement Test:

• Writing the placement test is compulsory! for new students 
• Writing of a placement test or applying for admission in a programme is not an automatic admission to the programme and the college.
• When writing the placement test, please follow instructions and answer honestly.
• Do not let anyone else complete this placement test for you as you will be recommended for the wrong course.
• If someone else completes the screening this can result in, you performing poorly in the course recommended to you.

Buffalo City TVET College Required Documents

Your 2025 application at Buffalo TVET College must be accompanied by the following documents:

• Your certified ID copy 
• Your certified copy of highest grade passed (matric certificate/school report)
• Certified copy of parent/guardian identity document 
• Your proof of residence
• Rewrite students must upload their academic records with a college stamp

PLEASE NOTE: Your documents must not be older than 3 months. Only documents certified at a police station will be accepted!! Documents must be uploaded in PDF format and not photos/images. Applications with unclear documents will not be processed.
