About Capricorn TVET College:

Capricorn TVET College is one of the 50 TVET colleges in South Africa. This college is located in the Limpopo province and offers a variety of courses that provide students with skills and knowledge needed for the job market in South Africa. Capricorn TVET College has a total of 4 campuses (Polokwane Campus, Senwarbarwana Campus, Seshego Campus and Ramokgopa Campus).

The following Trade/Artisanal development programmes are open:

• Electrician Trade
• Fitter & Turner Trade

ABOUT THE CAPRICORN TVET COLLEGE PROGRAMMES - SELECTION,  ALLOWANCE AND MORE

Theoretical and Workshop training will be conducted at Seshego Campus. Preference will be given to qualifying former College students for Electrician and Fitter & Turner Trade Programmes. The duration of the Trade/Artisanal Development Programmes is three (3) years funded by Services SETA. The trade programmes will commerce 01 March 2024.

Monthly stipend: R 2 500.00
Electrician Trade: 05 Learners (will be accepted)
Fitter & Turner Trade: 10 Learners (will be accepted)

CAPRICORN TVET COLLEGE TRADE/ARTISANAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for the Trade/Artisanal Programmes, you need to meet the following requirements:

• You must be a South African Citizen
• You must be between 18 and 35 years
• Electrician Trade: You must have passed NCV Level 4 Electrical Infrastructure Construction Majoring with Electrical System & construction OR N1-N3 in Electrical Engineering (Specializing in Electrical Trade Theory)
• Fitter & Turner Trade: You must have passed NCV Level 4 Engineering and Related Design Majoring with Fitting and Turning OR N1-N3 in Mechanical Engineering (Specializing in Fitting and Machining Theory and Mechanotechnology N3)

CAPRICORN TVET COLLEGE TRADE/ARTISANAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

To apply successfully for the Trade/Artisanal Programmes you need to attach the following documents:

• Your certified ID copy
• Your certified qualification copy (NCV L4)
• Your Proof of Residence
• Your next of kin/legal guardian certified ID copy

NOTE: Your certified copies should not be older than 3 months.

Please note that Capricorn uses the COLTECH online application platform, if you have applied before at another TVET college, you have to use the same username and password.
