REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 SECOND SEMESTER COURSES AT CENTRAL JOHANNESBURG TVET COLLEGE:

• ART AND DESIGN N4

A National Introductory Certificate: N4 Art and Design; or an equivalent NQF level 4 occupation qualification; OR

 an APS score of 24, using double the English, and the four (4) next best subjects of NSC/ NC (V) L4 and a Portfolio of Evidence (POE) of pencil or oil painting sketches.

• BUSINESS MANAGEMENT N4

Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification

Any of the following NV (V) L4 Certificates:
Management
Office Administration
Information Technology
Finance, Economics and Accounting
Transport and Logistics; or an

 A National Introductory Certificate: N4 Business Studies; or an
Equivalent NQF Level 4 occupational qualification; or an
APS score of 25, using double the English and Accounting/ Mathematics/ Mathematical Literacy/ Economics/ Business Studies subjects, plus the two (2) next best subjects of NSC.

• CLOTHING PRODUCTION N4

A National Introductory Certificate: N4 Clothing Production; or an equivalent NQF level 4 occupation qualification; or an APS score of 24, using double the English, and the four (4) next best subjects of NSC/ NC (V) L4 and a Portfolio of evidence (POE) that shows design and construction of a variety of garments.

• FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT N4

Any of the following NV (V) L4 Certificates:
Education and Development
Finance, Economics and Accounting
Information Technology
Management
Marketing
Office Administration
Transport and Logistics; or an

Equivalent NQF Level 4 occupational qualification; or an
APS score of 24, using double the English the four (4) next best subjects of NSC.

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT N4

 Any of the following NV (V) L4 Certificates:
Education and Development
Finance, Economics and Accounting
Information Technology
Management
Marketing
Office Administration

Equivalent NQF Level 4 occupational qualification; or an
APS score of 24, using double the English the four (4) next best subjects of NSC.

How to apply at Central Johannesburg TVET College for 2024

Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) has a two-step application process for new students. New students have to write a placement test. This test is compulsory. Failure to write the test will result in your application being rejected. This online screening test helps determine your academic strengths and suitability for your chosen program.

The closing date for the Central Johannesburg TVET College 2024 second semester applications is the 30th of April 2024. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
