REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 TRIMESTER 3 ENGINEERING COURSES AT CENTRAL JOHANNESBURG TVET COLLEGE:
New Students:
- As a new student applying for the first time at the Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC), you need to have passed grade 12 with mathematics) OR technical grade 12
- OR you need to have passed NCV Level 4 (coming from another TVET college) to apply for N4
Returning Students:
- As a returning student of the Central Johannesburg College (CJC), you need to have passed N2 to apply for N3
OR
- As a returning student of the Central Johannesburg College (CJC), you need to have passed N3 OR NCV Level 4 to apply for N4
How to apply at Central Johannesburg TVET College for 2024
Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) has a two-step application process for new students. New students have to write a placement test. This test is compulsory. Failure to write the test will result in your application being rejected. This online screening test helps determine your academic strengths and suitability for your chosen program.

Note that returning students are not required to write the placement test. A returning student is a student who has previously enrolled at a CJC and possesses a student number and PIN. The application process for returning students is slightly different from the process for new students.

- Your certified matric results/certificate or equivalent

Here are the closing dates of CJC 2024 trimester 3 applications: The closing date for the Central Johannesburg TVET College for new students is 24 July 2024. The closing date for the CJC for returning students is 10 September 2024. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
