REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 SECOND TRIMESTER ENGINEERING COURSES AT EAST CAPE MIDLANDS TVET COLLEGE:

MOTOR TRADE: Passed N1 OR Grade 12/Technical Grade 12 with Maths & Science - 40% pass in all subjects.

CIVIL ENGINEERING: Passed N1 OR Grade 12 / Technical Grade 12 with Maths & Science – 40% pass per subject/ 

OR Passed N3 Civil – Average 40% all subjects

FITTING & TURNING: Passed N1 OR Grade 12 / Technical Grade 12 with Maths & Science - 40% pass in all subjects.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING: Passed N3 Mechanical. Average 40% all subjects

WELDING: Passed N1 OR Grade 12 / Technical Grade 12 with Maths & Science 40% pass in all subjects.

ELECTRICAL TRADE: Passed N1 OR Grade 12 / Technical Grade 12 with Maths & Science. Average of 40% in all subjects

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING: Passed N3 Electrical OR NCV Level 4 in EIC with average of 40% all subjects
