The Ekurhuleni East TVET College came about after a merger of five Technical colleges; Benoni Technical, Isidingo Technical, Tlamoga Technical and Springs Technical and later the Artisan and Skills Development Centre was founded to make a total of six centres. The College has a mission to be a top-tier TVET college that provides important knowledge and skills, equipping students for the workforce and independent work.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 SECOND TRIMESTER ENGINEERING COURSES AT EKURHULENI EAST TVET COLLEGE:

In order to apply for NATED courses at Ekurhuleni East TVET college you need to have;

Passed Grade 11 OR equivalent to enter N1

Passed N1 OR equivalent to enter N2

Passed N2 OR equivalent to enter N3 

Passed your Grade 12 OR NCV L4 OR N3 to enter N4

Passed your N4 to enter N5

Passed your N5 to enter N6

Passed your N6 to apply for a National N-Diploma

How to apply at Ekurhuleni East TVET College for 2024

All interested and qualifying students can apply online. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to submit your application. 

1. Visit the Ekurhuleni East TVET college website HERE  
2. Watch the instruction video as it will guide with your application process 
3. After watching the video Click on the "Click to continue" tab 
4. Register your profile by clicking on the "New Student" tab
5. Complete the compulsory placement/screening test 
6. After completing the placement test, click HERE to begin your online application 
7. Click on the "Apply tab" under prospective students 

NB: The compulsory placement test is simply a recommendation and you still have the right to choose your own course based on your preference. You will be required to sign acknowledgement that you prefer to apply for a course outside of the recommended placement .
