REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 SECOND TRIMESTER ENGINEERING COURSES AT MTHASHANA TVET COLLEGE:

Civil Engineering 

• N2: Passed N1 or Gr 12 with Mathematics.
• N3: Passed three (3) or all the N2 Subjects
• N4: Passed three (3) or all the N3 Subjects or NCV L4 Civil Engineering and Building Construction
• N5:Passed three (3) or all the N4 Subjects
• N6: Passed three (3) or all the N5 Subjects
   

Mechanical Engineering 

• N2: Passed N1 or Gr 12 with Mathematics
• N3: Passed three (3) or all the N2 Subjects
   

Electrical Engineering 

• N2:Passed N1 or Gr 12 with Mathematics.
• N3:Passed three (3) or all the N2 Subjects
• N4: Passed three (3) or all the N3 Subjects or NCV L4 Electrical Infrastructure Construction
• N5: Passed three (3) or all the N4 Subjects.
• N6:Passed three (3) or all the N5 Subjects

How to apply at Mthashana TVET College for 2024

All interested and qualifying students can apply online. Applications are accepted through the Coltech platform. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to submit your application. 

1. Go to the Mthashana TVET College’s website HERE
2. You’ll first need to complete the compulsory placement test on Step 1
3. After registering a profile and completing the placement test go back to the application page and click on Step 2 
4. You will be taken to the Mthashana TVET College Coltech application site 
5. Click on "Select a course" tab
6. Select the year 2024
7. Choose the duration of the course 
8. You will be asked to select the campus and the registration type (Full time)
9. You will need to select the course you want to apply for
10. After selecting the course, click on "APPLY FOR THIS COURSE" tab.
