The Ekurhuleni East TVET College came about after a merger of five Technical colleges; Benoni Technical, Isidingo Technical, Tlamoga Technical and Springs Technical and later the Artisan and Skills Development Centre was founded to make a total of six centres. In order to apply for NATED courses at Ekurhuleni East TVET College you need to have;
Passed your Grade 12 OR NCV L4 to enter N4
Passed your N4 to enter N5
Passed your N5 to enter N6
Passed your N6 to apply for a National N-Diploma
