2024 applications are officially open at Thekwini TVET College for the following second trimester courses:

• Civil Engineering (N4-N6)
• Electrical Engineering (N4-N6)

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 SECOND TRIMESTER ENGINEERING COURSES AT THEKWINI TVET COLLEGE:

Civil Engineering N4 

• Passed N3 Civil Engineering and/or Gr 12 Mathematics 40% and/or any or all of the following: Physical Science 40%; Civil Technology 50%; EGD 50%. (Mathematical Literacy not accepted)
   

Civil Engineering N5

• Passed N4 Civil Engineering with BSC; BSS; QS and BA. No outstanding subject in N3
   

Civil Engineering N6

• Passed N5 Civil Engineering with BSC; BSS; QS and BA. No outstanding subject in N4.

Electrical Engineering N4, N5 & N6 

• Mathematics / Technical Mathematics 40% (Maths Literacy not accepted) Physical Science / Technical Science 40%
   

How to apply at Thekwini TVET College for 2024

Interested prospective students can apply online. Applications are accepted through the Coltech platform. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to submit your online application.

2. Click on the "select a course" tab 
3. Select the year 2024
4. Choose the duration of the course 
5. You will be asked to select the campus and the registration type (Full time)
6. You will need to select the course you want to apply for
7. After selecting the course, click on "APPLY FOR THIS COURSE"  tab

• Your certified latest results
• Your parent/next of kin certified ID copy
