• Electrical Engineering (Part time) N4-N6
• Civil Engineering  N4 - N6
• Mechanical Engineering (Part time) N4 - N6
• Mechanical Engineering N3 - N5
• Electrical Engineering N3 - N6
• Instrumentation N4&N5 
• Mechanical Engineering (Diesel Trade Theory) N3

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 SECOND TRIMESTER ENGINEERING COURSES AT UMFOLOZI TVET COLLEGE:

• To apply for N2, you need to have passed grade 11
• To apply for N3, you need to have N2 certificate or equivalent (with Mathematics and Physical Science)
• To apply for N4, you need to have N3 certificate OR grade 12 (with Maths and Physical Science)
• To apply for N5, you need to have N4 certificate 
• To apply for N6, you need to have N5 certificate 

How to apply at Umfolozi TVET College for 2024

All interested and qualifying students can apply online, the application is done through the Coltech platform. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to submit your application. 

1. Visit the Umfolozi TVET College website to complete the compulsory placement test
2. After completing the test, go to the Umfolozi TVET College application site ( on google search umfolozicoltech) to begin your application.
3. Click on the "select a course" tab. 
4. Select the application year 2024.
5. Select the duration of the course (Engineering Studies 3 months) 
6. Select your preferred campus. 
7. Select the registration type available (full time/part time) 
8. Select your desired course. 
9. Finally, after picking your preferred course click on "apply for this course" tab to proceed with your application.
